Hello, i like most Bulgarians was shocked when i didn't saw Bulgaria in the country selection menu.
And that's because Bulgaria is one of the biggest countries in other games like this one.
I would suggest you some info for making it easier for you and helping you out.

Regions and resources -
Sofia- iron and grain
Stara Zagora- grain and wood
Pleven - oil
Varna -oil and diamonds
Plovdiv - grain and iron ( wood also but not so important)
Blagoevgrad - grain and wood
Burgas - diamonds and iron
Ruse - grain (high)
Pleven - grain and oil
Veliko Turnovo- wood ( high) and diamonds- grain and wood
Most of them are chosen because there are real resources in RL Bulgaria but some are chosen for the sake of the game
